During my residency in the Renault Douai factory i worked with not just the most recent incarnation of the Renault5, but also the 1970s original. It was fascinating seeing in such detail the differences between the two and the huge leap in technology and safety cars have taken in the last 50 years

I love the original and was amazed to discover they were produced in the same factory back in the 1970s
