The Mighty Oak. Affordable art fair, Battersea park.
I was invited to build a sculpture for the Affordable art fairs 15th birthday celebrations, it seemed like the ideal situation to try out light projection on a much larger scale. the result was a 5.4metre high sculpture based on a grain silo for the entrance to the event in Battersea park.
It was a great deal of fun to build, and quite an experience to transport!. I was very skin care fortunate to have help from some great friends Dwayne and Pete during the construction, I owe huge thanks to Henrietta Cartwright from ART* and Lockton without whom the project would never have come to life, and of course everyone behind the scenes at the AAF who make the event happen so smoothly each year.
